Hoodoo Soul Band has been playing every Sunday night for the last 27 years holding down one of the longest running residencies in the Midwest. Rumba Cafe has a modest cover at the door that grants attendee's access to one of the most unique scenes around and the room is full every week. If there is a Monday holiday, be prepared to pay a slightly higher cover and stand in a line that spills out onto the sidewalk. There are a few seats along the bar and the opposite wall but most of the space is cleared out for a high energy, full-contact concert experience in one of the city's best, small-cap venues. The music gets going around 9pm.
